Chapter 65 - HIBI

Yuna knew that changing the world was going to be extremely difficult. She was sent back to this world on a mission to change it. She wasn’t going to fail her mission. She planned on never becoming a bystander that watched others suffer. She was too negligent in her first life. The memories of war and the deaths of many people kept repeating in her head.

Eunho noticed her distraught expression and asked, “Are you ok?” Yuna snapped back to reality, “Sorry, I was just thinking about something.” Eunho unexpectedly patted her head like she was a kid. She didn’t like being treated like a kid, but the pat on her head felt nice.

Eunho quickly withdrew his hand and continued on the walk back. Yuna asked, “Would I be able to do the same thing if I trained?” He had no clue what she was talking about. He asked, “Do what?” She explained, “I want to be able to fly in the sky like you do. That was pretty cool.” Eunho corrected her, “We weren’t exactly flying. Its not like I own a pair of wings. I was just simply jumping from branch to branch.”

Yuna smiled, “How are you able to do that? It felt like we were flying. Will training help me?” He shrugged, “We won’t know until you start your training.” She hoped she could learn fast so that she could jump from tree to tree without being scared of falling. Eunho noticed that Yuna seemed to be enthusiastic about learning martial arts, but he knew that it wasn’t going to be that easy.

Although he didn’t like to see her get hurt, he was looking forward to spending more time with her. He didn’t have a reason to be around Yuna much but training her allowed him to spend time with her naturally.

He hoped that during the training, she would slowly start to see that he was better than that b*st*rd, Prince Minho. He was determined to prevent their marriage in this life. The thought of her being with him made his stomach turn. He wanted to beat Prince Minho to a pulp and let her see how much of a scum he was.

Prince Minho was a sly one. It was suspicious that he was the only prince remaining after the assassination of the emperor and the princes. It could only mean that he was the murderer that eliminated his family to get the position of emperor. He had found that out too late in the past life. It infuriated him when he found that all the blame was placed on Yuna.

Yuna noticed that Eunho’s expression grew dark. She didn’t know what could’ve caused him to change. She asked, “What’s wrong?” Eunho didn’t want to have to explain his thoughts, so he brushed it off like it was nothing, “It’s nothing. I was just thinking about something.” Yuna didn’t believe that it was nothing, but she didn’t want to pressure him too much.

Eunho quickly changed the flow of the conversation, “You should probably go to bed when we get back. We’ll start training at the same time with the rest of the soldiers. There will be no exceptions for you. I’m sure you don’t want to disappoint everyone else by waking up too late.”

Yuna answered, “Don’t worry about it. I’ll make sure to wake up at the crack of dawn.” He doubted her, especially since the crack of dawn was not too soon from now. He worried if she would really be okay after the training. He found that most of his training regimen were tough for men. How would a noble lady be able to survive the harsh training?

Eunho waited on the training grounds the next morning to see if Yuna was really adamant on beginning training. He doubted that she’d get herself up first thing in the morning when she hardly slept the previous night. Majority of his soldiers were already lined up and ready. They were waiting in line for a while, but Yuna was nowhere to be found.

One of his soldiers stated, “Sir, I don’t believe that the miss will be here for training. Let’s just continue what we’ve always done.” He wanted her to miss out on training so that she wouldn’t have to endanger herself by fighting enemies, but for some reason he felt disappointed. He was expecting to at least see her reaction after training for one day.

What did he expect? He was right this whole time. She’s not meant to be on the battlefield. She should be living comfortably at home while improving on her knowledge in the arts. He wouldn’t blame her if she didn’t lift a single finger. He’d rather her live as a normal lady enjoying life. Even if she lived as a noble lady, he would be the one to protect her. It didn’t matter if she never trained in martial arts.

Eunho was more than willing to become the strength she needed. It was the only way he could be of use to her. His talent in martial arts would be useful for her in the future. He didn’t need her to learn martial arts. If she truly became strong, he would become a useless existence. It saddened him to realize that he had no place other than to be her bodyguard.

Namjoo was also in line waiting for Yuna. She was disappointed as well. She wanted someone else to prove that females were just as strong. She was expecting to see Yuna do what she couldn’t do. She especially dressed as a male because she knew that no one would accept a female to fight alongside men in the battlefield. Namjoo wondered if there would ever be someone brave enough to prove everyone wrong.

After waiting for a while, she still didn’t arrive. Eunho cleared his throat, “Since the lady of the residence is not here, it seems that she is not as determined to start training as I thought she would be. Let’s commence training.” Just as he finished his sentence, he heard Yuna’s shout, “WAIT! I’m sorry for being late.”
