Eunho was expecting to face an arrogant Prince Minho, but instead he was faced with the dead corpse of one of his soldiers. He clenched his teeth in fury at the scene. The soldier’s head was cut off cleanly and blood was pooled beneath the body. He remembered the soldier happily talking about his wife and kids. He was constantly working hard to earn money for his family.
The soldier planned on retiring just a few days later to spend time with his family. He needed to work at an old age, because his wife and him conceived at an old age. After years of working, his plan was to retire once he earned enough for his family. He was weeks away from retirement.
He felt immense guilt towards his wife and kids that were waiting for his return. The news would be devastating. He couldn’t imagine how much pain and sorrow they would be faced with. If only he let him retire sooner, he wouldn’t have died at this age.
Once everyone heard of his death, the soldiers gathered around the corpse. They placed a white cloth over his body and placed him in the cart to bring to his family. A few of the soldiers had tears in their eyes as they pulled the cart out of the Kim Residence. They were close to the soldier, and they viewed him as their own grandfather. It was heartbreaking watching his soldiers grieving over his death.
Eunho angrily asked the guard, “Why did you leave him here alone? You should’ve gotten some more guards to help.” The guard cried, “I didn’t know this was going to happen. I was scared for my life.” Eunho sighed, “He’s already gone. You’ll come with me to tell his family what happened.”
The guard nodded, “I’ll go and tell his family. Is there anything else? I can receive any punishment.” Eunho glared at him, “Your punishment will have to wait. Where’s Prince Minho?” The guard frantically searched the premises. Prince Minho’s palanquin was gone, and his servants were nowhere to be found.
Did Prince Minho leave after killing the guard? If he were Minho, he wouldn’t have just left. He would go to see Yuna. Eunho instantly began rushing towards Yuna’s room. It wasn’t possible for Minho to enter Yuna’s bedroom and leave so quickly. It didn’t take long for Eunho to walk to the main gate. Eunho instructed the guards, “Search the premises for Prince Minho’s palanquin. They must be around here somewhere.”
The guards began searching for the palanquin while Eunho dashed to Yuna’s room. He hoped that he wasn’t too late. He felt frustrated thinking about all the times he was a step too late in protecting Yuna. He wouldn’t be able to live with himself if Minho did anything to harm Yuna.

It was a good thing that Minho told his servants to wait for him in an inconspicuous location. He knew that the news of his arrival would soon be told to General Eunho. He hadn’t met General Eunho, but he heard of the rumors. Minho wasn’t willing to face Eunho.
He was known for being the youngest General. His skills were so deadly that no one wanted to face him in battle. Everyone in the capital respected Eunho for his unrivaled talent in martial arts. Even his most talented servants weren’t able to face him in battle. How would he be able to deal with that? He wasn’t willing to test him yet.
Minho definitely wasn’t stupid enough to face General Eunho. He specifically instructed his servants to find an inconspicuous location while he went inside to see Yuna. Who would’ve known that Yuna would be unconscious? It seemed that luck was on his side today. Minho would be able to take Yuna back to the palace.
Once she stepped foot in the palace, no one would be able to stop them from getting married. It would only be a matter of time before his wish would come true. Once she becomes his, General Junho would have no choice but to support him. No one is allowed to enter his palace without permission. He could easily threaten General Junho into become his support.
Once General Junho and his army is at his beck and call, he could easily wipe out his stupid brother and his father. It made Minho happy thinking about becoming the next emperor. He could imagine all the glory sitting on the throne. All the beautiful women and gold would become his in an instant. Once he got tired of Yuna, he could easily have her executed.
One of his muscular servants carried Yuna over his shoulder and he leapt over the wall. Minho joined his servant and easily leapt over the wall. Although Minho wasn’t the strongest person, he was capable of that much. He was still stronger than most martial artists. He wasn’t confident in facing General Eunho on a one-on-one battle as of yet.
Once he obtained power, he was confident that he could get help from the mysterious leader of Miyon. He once heard about Miyon’s mysterious leader and how he had the ability to artificially change a person’s body into a superhuman. The horrifying stories about Miyon were mostly rumors, but he knew for a fact that some of those stories were true.
Minho’s personal informant was talented. It was easy for him to obtain any information. Although he wasn’t able to learn everything about the country of Miyon, he had heard the stories of Miyon’s mysterious leader. His superhuman abilities were outstanding to the point that even General Junho struggled to fight him. If only, he could obtain that type of body, he could easily have all the power in the world.
No one would be able to look down on him ever again. Minho recalled all the times when his father ridiculed him and how his brother was always one step ahead of him. He wanted to wipe that smile off their faces and prove to them that he was not someone they could mess with.
